Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has authorised the release of about N300 million for the payment of the 2023 National Examination Council Fee NECO to all index students in Public Secondary Schools in the state.
He also approved the payment of nearly N15 million in UTME fees to 2,365 students who cleared the latest mock examination.Information Guide Nigeria

Kashim further stated that the government was able to offset nearly N800 million in NECO fee backlogs through his administration’s Education Development Initiative.NYSC portal

On her part, the State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Jamila Muhammad Dahiru noted that the state government had approved the establishment of Emirate Council Committee on Education in a bid to reduce the rate of out-of-school children across the state.
The commissioner explained that membership of the committee which include traditional title holders, Civil Society Organizations(CSOs) and Development Partners are to deepen advocacy on the need to enroll more pupils into schools across the state.JAMB Result
