BBNiaja 2021 nominations for evictions took place after an evening of intense drama and spiciness. Here’s how it all went down.
There is growing goosebumps in the BBNaija Season 6 game as more housemates are unexpectedly being nominated for eviction after 30 days of enjoyment in the Big Brothers house. The outcome of this is that, at least two of the BBN nominated housemates today will have to go home, or maybe watching the show with us from home.
It has been quite an intense evening in the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ House. We witnessed The HoH Games, severe warnings from Biggie, and 3 strikes in a fell swoop. To cap it all up the nominations for evictions took place right after the strikes were issued.
What a night, right?
Last week the Housemates were lucky to escape evictions but Biggie decided to go back to the status quo this evening. He opened the floor for nominations when he called Queen into the room to nominate two people for possible evictions. After Queen, the remaining 19 Housemates were called into the Diary room. Here’s how their nomination went.
BBNaija 2021 latest nomination for eviction
BBNaija Eviction Nomination was packed with huge emotions and drama. At the end of the nomination sessions, JMK, Queen, Maria, Pere, Sammie and Peace were announced as the Housemates with the most nominations for possible eviction. The new Head of House Liquorose was then called upon to use her Veto Power to save and replace a nominated Housemate with another Housemate. Liquorose decided to save Peace and replace her with Cross.

JMK
JMK has been selected in the BBNaija 2021 nomination for eviction. No one saw this coming though.
Full name: Jumoke Zainab Adedoyin
A 23-year-old law graduate from Kwara State, JMK has aspirations of becoming a certified member of the Nigerian Bar. Apart from music, dancing and traveling, she enjoys cooking and the simple pleasures of life. She describes herself as “a sexy, confident and adventurous foodie” who loves to help people. She believes her presence in the Big Brother Naija House will help build her brand and will help position her to advance further in her career.
In addition, she wants the exposure and life changing experience that the platform provides, to assist in her advocacy for social issues.

Maria (Wildcard)
Wow! Maria is among the BBNaija 2021 Monday eviction nominations. She probably felt betrayed by the rest of the Housemates and couldn’t bear to be around them.
Blame it on the alcohol
Besides being Nominated for Eviction, Maria also received a Strike for microphone infringement, so she wasn’t in the best of moods last night and felt upset about the situation. In a conversation with Tega, she blamed the incident where she asked Pere to take off his mic on alcohol. She remembers it only vaguely, wondering why she asked him to take off his mic in the first place. Also upset by the Nomination, she declined to go watch the Showmax movie treat Liquorose invited her for. “I don’t want to watch movie around people I don’t want to be with,” she said.

Full name: Maria Chike Agueze
Maria is a 29-year-old former air hostess, turned realtor who enjoys cooking, exercising, hiking, acting, and dancing. Maria prides herself on being a loving and kind-hearted individual who is always looking for new adventures. Her travels have taken her around the world and to all continents, except Antarctica.
Though she speaks of herself as “a symbol of love in human form”, people are often shocked by her stern side when they cross her or take her for granted. “I can get extreme when disrespected to the fullest”.
Having a go-getter attitude is one of her favourite character traits. Despite being hard-working, Maria enjoys having a glass of red wine when she needs a break.

QUEEN
Queen is among the BBN nominated housemates this week eviction. But with the fan base, we think that she can survive.
Full name: Queen Mercy Atang
Queen, 26, is a philanthropist and aspiring politician. She hails from Akwa Ibom State and has a mom she adores and three beautiful siblings that she loves.
She is a Tansian University graduate and an international beauty queen. Queen describes herself as “beautiful, courageous, and fearless” and reckons being raised by a single mother taught her a lot about life.
An ambitious and driven person who values everyone around her, she considers herself a true leader and an excellent communicator who is very calculating, loyal, and peaceful.

Sammie
Full name: Samuel Jacob Alifa
Sammie is a 26-year-old amateur filmmaker and final year student at Ahmadu Bello University.
He enjoys storytelling, videography, basketball, eating and hanging out, and describes himself as “tall, handsome and charismatic”. He admits he talks too much at times and sometimes ends up gossiping, because of the “great dialogue” he gets in his day-to-day conversations. Cross
It’s pity our lover boy Cross has been selected for the BBNaija 2021 latest nomination for eviction. Being his first time Nominated, Cross couldn’t hide how shocked he was. “I didn’t see it coming, E shock me I won’t lie,” he said. Cross’ case was quite peculiar because he wasn’t Nominated initially, but put up by Liquorose, the Head of House who Saved Peace and put him in her place.
Liquorose did visit him and apologise saying she didn’t want him to think it was personal. “You will be fine, I know you are strong,” she told him reassuringly. Cross seemed to take it in good strides and said it was just a game before they eventually hugged it out.

Lagos based Cross is a fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur who describes himself as “a bad boy with a good heart”. When he is not watching movies, travelling or clubbing, you will find Cross playing drums or being hype on the mic on an Amapiano or House track or two.

Pere (Wildcard)
It was not a surprise!
Pere is among the bbnaija 2021 eviction nomination list for this week. I’m not sure if so many housemates like him as a result of his autocratic behaviour in his one week of being head of the house.
Pere felt he had it coming, and it really wasn’t a surprise to him.
Full name: Pere Egbi
Born in Warri, Delta State, Pere was raised by a single mother, and is the firstborn of two children.
He believes change is the only constant in life and describes himself as “a spontaneous, adventurous person”. Pere is a qualified nurse and served in the United States Military for six years, before coming back to Nigeria to pursue a career in real estate. This vibrant 35-year-old is also a part time actor and model.
He is attracted to things of high value and is motivated by his past. As an empath, he hopes to use his experiences with pain to help heal others. He enjoys dancing, playing games, writing, bar-hopping and water rafting.

The Nominations’ aftermath
A few of the Housemates are new to being Nominated and they are already in their feelings.
For Cross, JMK, Maria, Pere, Queen, and Sammie, this is their first time getting Nominated and a lot to take in. Although they all put on a brave front, they were nervous as they dreaded the possibility that it could be their last week in the House.
Nomination has a way of rattling Housemates and putting them in their feelings. Hopefully, the Housemates can shake it off and put up a good show. They have a couple of days left to sway the BBNaija Fam.
