Beware of scam alert, fake calls, EFCC cautions Nigerians

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned Nigerians to be wary of scam alert, especially relating to fake calls from its help desk. THE GUARDIAN reports.Information Guide Nigeria

EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren on Tuesday in a statement said that the agency has no help desk, hence calls from such quarters are fake.

“The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been drawn to a Scam Alert, trending in the social media, which purportedly emanated from EFCC Help Desk Headquarters, Jabi-Abuja,” Uwujaren stated.JAMB Portal
