Buhari Inaugurates Six INEC Commissioners
President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in six national commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). THE CABLE reports.
According to THE CABLE, the ceremony took place at the presidential villa, Abuja, before the commencement of the weekly federal executive council meeting.

Conversing with newsmen after the swearing-in, Mahmood Yakubu, INEC chairman, said Nigerians should expect the best from INEC now that it has a full complement of commissioners.
“Well, it’s a good day for the commission, with the swearing-in of the six national commissioners, we have the full complements of 12 national commissioners.
