The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has categorically refuted claims circulating on social media that Victor Oche Odeh, a recently convicted internet fraudster, is seven years old. The EFCC clarified that Odeh, who was convicted by Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court on July 21, 2023, is actually 19 years old.NYSC Portal
In a statement released on Monday, the anti-graft agency addressed the misinformation and emphasized that the convict is not a minor.
The Commission explained that Odeh was one of five undergraduates who were convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment each. These sentences were handed down after they pleaded guilty to separate one-count charges of internet fraud.informationguidenigeria

The EFCC also took to its official social media handle to provide further details about the case. Alongside Odeh, the other individuals convicted include Chidebere Stanley Opara (also known as Avail Hollywood), Manasseh Sefa Ephraim (also known as Felicia_dannyyels), Chukwukere Obinna Paul (also known as Shaun Lee), and Enyogu Etim Ekpo (also known as Henry Wilson, Jasdav7).JAMB Result
