Two die as fire guts Ex-Oyo governor Alao Akala’s residence

A fire outbreak at the Ogbomoso residence of former Oyo State Governor, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, resulted in the loss of two lives. Chief Alao-Akala served as the governor of Oyo State from 2007 to 2011. An anonymous source from Ogbomoso shared this information, although further details about the victims or the circumstances leading to the fire have not been provided. This event has undoubtedly caused distress in the local community and has drawn attention to fire safety and emergency response measures in residential areas.

“I have called on of the people who are in the house and he has confirmed it to me. The inferno happened this morning,” the source said.
