A man in his late 20s named as Kido in Issele–Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State, has allegedly been detained for murdering his father.Infomation Guide Nigeria
PUNCH Metro learned that Kido allegedly murdered his father on their farmland in the Issele-Uku region with a knife.
A source indicated that the incident occurred when the suspect’s father confronted him for harvesting crops without authorization.

“But in his confession, the suspect said he did not stab his father but only used firewood on him in self-defence while he (father) threatened him (son) with a cutlass,” the source said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said the suspect was in custody while investigation was ongoing.
He said, “The son was arrested immediately and he is in detention. They were quarrelling on the farm and unfortunately he killed his father.”Jamb Result
