Godsgift Uweghwerhen, age 25, was arrested for reportedly whipping to death his three-year-old daughter in the Aladja community of the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.Information Guide Nigeria
PUNCH Metro learned that Uweghwerhen was at home with his family and neighbors when he witnessed his daughter exiting the room of one of his neighbors.
Uweghwerhen, angered by his daughter’s behavior, reportedly attacked her with a cane, inflicting physical damage on the victim.JAMB portal

According to reports, Uweghwerhen’s daughter died as a result of the beating, and upon realizing the gravity of his actions, he fled the scene.NYSC portal
However, the victim’s father’s luck ran out when vigilantes arrested him in the Ubogo neighborhood and turned him over to Ovwian/Aladja Division police officers.
