
Doyin Okupe, Director-General of Peter Obi’s Presidential Campaign Council, has reacted to his conviction for money laundering by an Abuja High Court.Information Guide Nigeria
According to the DAILY POST, Okupe was found guilty on 26 of the 59 counts brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ojukwu, on the other hand, offered a N500,000 fine in each of the counts, for a total of N13 million, which must be paid by Monday at 4:30 p.m.
If Okupe fails to satisfy the choice of fine within the time frame, she decided that he should be transferred to Kuje Correctional Centre to spend his prison term.NYSC portal

Okupe responded on his Twitter page, saying the enemies tried but failed.
He wrote, ”God is not man. The enemies have tried in so many ways but kept on failing. Victory is of God.”
