Uloma Nwosu, daughter of the senator representing Imo West and presidential aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Rochas Okorocha, has said that the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who arrested her father on Tuesday, did not present any legal justification for his arrest. In her words: “The way they (EFCC operatives) had presented themselves did not show that it was something that was official, because there was no legal documents supporting their action. So you could say it was illegal battery or whatever we may call it. At this point, I was also scared as well, because it didn’t look official, it didn’t look like something that was done right.
