
Eight Dead In An Auto-Crash
At least eight persons have died in a lone auto accident that occurred at Farin-Doki village along Minna-Suleja road in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State. DAILY POST reports.
It was reported that the accident which happened on Monday evening at about 7 pm involved a bus with a Kano registration number KMC 297 ZU conveying passengers from Katsina to Lagos.

DAILY POST learnt that the driver, one Ilyasu Bala, lost control of the vehicle at a point around Farin-Doki village due to a reported mechanical fault. Information Guide Nigeria
Eyewitness account stated that the driver, six others, and a child lost their lives on the spot of the auto crash. jamb results
The source explained that the injured victims were conveyed by some villagers in the area to the hospital at Gawu in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State for medical attention.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PRO, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, said the lone accident was due to a reported mechanical fault developed by the vehicle during the journey that caused it to somersault.
“Unfortunately, the bus somersaulted while the driver, one Ilyasu Bala, and six others died on the spot, eight other passengers sustained various degrees of injuries,” the police image maker disclosed.
