Elon Musk’s Tesla Master Plan 3 Is An Audacious Vision For A Green Earth

Moving away from fossil fuels and investing in renewable and sustainable energy sources is the correct course of action, regardless of whether Tesla is conducting business in the correct manner.Information Guide Nigeria

To get things back on track, however, will require a significant transfer of resources and the collaboration of the vast majority of the global economy.

According to Tesla, more than 80 percent of the world’s energy consumption is derived from fossil fuels, but only one-third of that energy is useable; the rest is wasted. Tesla is confident that it can save the day. On Tesla Investor Day 2023, the business outlined its goals for a greener planet, which it dubbed Tesla Master Plan 3… because if you want to sound like a supervillain, you must have numbered Master Plans. Tesla’s goals are extremely ambitious and far-reaching. Elon and his crew believe that everything is possible.

The plan’s initial objectives are exceptionally ambitious. With five extremely far-reaching phases, Tesla believes it will be possible to power the entire planet with sustainable materials by 2050. The initial phase is to convert the entire power grid to renewable fuels. This is relatively simple for Elon Musk to say in front of investors, but it will require the participation, time, money, and effort of virtually every individual and organisation on Earth for it to be possible within 27 years. Around $10 trillion, according to Tesla.

Other Top Stories:

Tesla calculates that the current electricity infrastructure must treble the rate at which solar and wind power facilities are being developed. According to the business, it will require a magnitude less space than the land currently used for agriculture. These wind and solar farms would need to produce approximately 30 terawatts of electricity if everything were to go according to plan.NYSC Portal

It will be expensive and time-consuming.
The next part of the Master Plan is to move to electric vehicles exclusively, an area in which Tesla has at least some competence. Now, all automakers produce roughly 8 million electric vehicles annually. That number must be increased to 84 million automobiles annually if everything is to proceed as planned.

Via a $7 trillion manufacturing investment, Tesla intends to reach a global fleet of 40 million Model S and Xs, 380 million Model Ys and 3s, 20 million Tesla Semis, 300 million Cybertrucks and an unannounced model, and a stunning 700 million of yet another Tesla vehicle.

Elon also stated during his presentation that he does not believe hydrogen would be beneficial for transportation purposes and that in the future, not driving an electric vehicle will be equivalent to using a horse for transportation.

As if that wasn’t ambitious enough, the Master Plan also included a strategy for replacing all furnaces and other heat sources with heat pumps. For the fourth stage, Tesla intends to electrify the transmission of high-temperature heat in industrial processes and, where feasible, transition to hydrogen. The final goal is to be able to sustainably fuel all aircraft and vessels, including heavy-lift aeroplanes, tankers, and container ships. Obviously, it is considerably simpler to say than to do. Now in the year 2023, Tesla has 27 years to develop a completely sustainable energy source. Time is running out.JAMB Result
