FINAL LIST OF CANDIDATES FOR NATIONAL ELECTIONS. SEE FULL LIST

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final candidate list for the national elections of 2023.Infomation Guide Nigeria

In addition to the governorship, general elections will be held for Presidential, National, and State districts, but the list included only federal offices.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party are on the list of presidential candidates (PDP).

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Party (NNPP), Sowore Stephen of the African Action Congress (AAC), Kachikwu Dumebi of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), along with 12 other candidates and their running mates.

Mr. Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, stated on Tuesday in Abuja that INEC approved the final list of candidates for the elections at its regular weekly meeting on Tuesday.

Okoye explained that the publication was made in accordance with Section 32(1) of the Electoral Act 2022 and Item 8 of the Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 General Election.

He stated that the publication of the complete names and addresses of all nominated candidates follows the completion of the political parties primaries and the nomination process.Jamb Result

As required by Section 29(3) of the Electoral Act, he recalled that, at the conclusion of the process, the personal information of all nominated candidates was displayed in their respective constituencies across the nation.
