FRSC Personnel Crushed To Death In Ondo
An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Abdulkareem Ojonla Jimoh has been crushed to death while on duty on the Sagamu-Ore-Benin highway. THE NATION reports.
He was said to have been attending to a suspected traffic offender in a Toyota Previa marked SMK-687GG when a driver of a white Toyota Hiace bus marked NEM-618AA rammed into him.

A statement by FRSC Commander along the highway, Lasisi Ogundele, said the driver lost control of his vehicle as a result of a brake failure and in an attempt to avoid collision with other vehicles on the queue at the checkpoint hit Abdulkareem. Information Guide Nigeria

The statement said Abdulkareem was seriously injured and died while being rushed to the hospital while the suspected traffic offender who also sustained serious injury died shortly after being rushed to the General Hospital, Ore, Odigbo local government.
