The governor visited the Palace of the Bala Waja, the Local Government’s supreme monarch, Muhammad Danjuma, to inform him of his team’s presence in the domain and solicit his assistance ahead of the 2023 elections.
Danjuma told the governor that he would get massive support across the local government, following Yahaya’s developmental strides, “cutting across road construction, the recent recruitment of teachers by the State Teachers Commission in which Balanga Local Government came second in the list of those that benefited in the number of teachers newly recruited in the state.”

At some of the wards visited, Yahaya appealed to the people to get their PVCs, “so as to vote the APC in all levels of governments in the forthcoming election,” stressing that it would enable him consolidate on the achievements made in the first tenure in Gombe State.NYSC Portal
He urged the people of the state to vote overwhelmingly in favor of the APC at all levels of government.
Also speaking, Jamil Gwamma, the Coordinator of the APC Campaign Council in Gombe State, projected that the PDP will lose due of its lack of performance in the past, emphasizing that “if a child who did not allow the mother to sleep, will undoubtedly not sleep as well.”
Gwamma urged Nigerians to vote for the APC from top to bottom in the upcoming election so that the government could build on the gains established during its first term.
