House On The Rock Pastor Commences Funeral Of Their Late Mother, Hilda Adefarasin

The service is currently holding at Guiding Light Assembly, where high-profile persons, including clergymen, are gathered to commiserate with the Adefarasin family.

Sharing photos from the events, Adefarasin via his Instagram on Friday noted that his siblings were standing near their mum’s coffin and looking set for the funeral.NYSC Portal

“For mummy,” he wrote, adding the image of a dove for emphasis.

Adefarasin’s wife Ifeanyi posted on Instagram a picture of Hilda lying in state. “Adieu Mummy,” she wrote, and also added a dove.

The service of songs and night of tributes was held at the Rock Cathedral in Lekki, Lagos on Thursday.

A nurse and women’s rights activist, Mrs. Adefarasin (nee Petgrave) died on Sunday, January 5.

The former president of the National Council of Women Societies was aged 98.
