How To Prepare Spaghetti In Nigeria

Another popular Nigeria food is spaghetti Here is a delicious spaghetti/macaroni recipe, there are different method of preparing this dish but I will share with you these two great recipe and they happen to be highly nutritious as it contains carrot, green beans and green pepper.

The magic about cooking is ingredients, different folks have their different method of cooking but ingredients vary. Well when am so famished, stressed up and less energetic to cook, spaghetti can help as it takes no time in preparation. Spaghetti can be a fast food for the day just like indomie and kids don’t joke with those delicacies.

Ingredients for Spaghetti

a. 1 Sachet of Spaghetti

b. Corned beef (optional)

c. 3 Spoons of Ground Crayfish

d. 3 cube of knorr or maggi

e. 1 small tin tomatoes.

f. sliced onions

g. Fresh tomatoes

h. Fresh pepper

i. Sliced green beans

j. 1kg  of Meat/fish or  (chicken, turkey, beef.. etc)

k. Green pepper (optional).

l. 150ml of Ground nut or vegetable oil

m. Salt to taste

n. A cup of sliced carrot.

How To Prepare My Favorite Spaghetti Recipe

a. Wash and chop the carrot, green beans and green pepper to desirable sizes.

b. Slice or grind the tomatoes and pepper and set aside

c. Slice the onion and set aside

d. Parboil the spaghetti. Bring a water to boil , break the spaghetti and add to boiling water, parboil for 5 to 8 mins. Wash and set aside

e. Parboil the meat and fish with all the necessary ingredients of your choice. In this recipe, we made used of 2 cubes of maggi, salt, onions and a small quantity of grinded nutmeg. .

f. When the meat is properly done and you choose to fry , pick out meat and fry with a reasonable amount of groundnut oil based on the quantity of meat

g. Blend the crayfish

h. Dry the blended tomatoes and pepper paste, add your groundnut oil to it, add the onions  and grinded crayfish and fry

i. Add the stock meat and a cup of water and salt to taste then cover to boil

j. Add the spaghetti and cook till almost soft then add the remaining onions, the carrot and green beans.

k. Stir and serve with your favorite drink
