Step 3. If you can spot a round shaped recycle icon at the bottom of the screen, it means the program is a series program. So, select “Record Episode”. Else, select “Record Episode”.

Doing that marks the program as a “Scheduled Recording” and you can access it under “Schedules” by navigating to “Planners”

Step 4. When the recording is complete, it is listed in your Playlist ready to be watched at your convenience.

How to Record DSTV Series Programs – Series Recordings

Let’s say you’ve got a pretty couple of things to get yourself into. So, won’t be watching your DSTV for the next couple of weeks.

Can you still keep in touch with your favorite series program?

Sure! The DSTV Series Recordings does the heavy lifting.

Here are the steps:

Step 1. Switch to your favorite program. If you see a round-shaped recycle icon, it means Series recording is available for the program.

Step 2. Press the OK button. When a small feature box pops up, select Record series. Doing that will list the next 8 series as scheduled recordings in Seasons Manager.

Step 3. When the program has been recorded, you can access and watch it by going to “Playlist”

How to record programs on DSTV while you are away – DSTV Remote recordings

Is it possible to record on DSTV while you are away playing the volley? Yes! You don’t always have to snug yourself up in your living room couch.

And the steps are straightforward:

you will receive a DSTV connect ID which you should link to your DSTV smart card.

Step 1. Get your DSTV Connect ID. To do that, go to DSTV connect, click on “Register” and enter your details.

Step 2. Link your Connect ID to your DSTV smart card.

Step 3. Go to DSTV Connect enter your login details and select any program you want to record. Alternatively, you can do that on your smartphone by downloading the DSTV app from the play store.

And that is it.

How to Access your Recorded Programs on DSTV

You already have your program recorded, so, the deal is done. But, how do you locate and watch it?

It’s a short a leap:

Step 1. Press the PLAYLIST button. That takes you to your list of recordings.

Step 2. Select anyone that interest and press OK for a list of possible options.

Step 3. Enjoy the view.
