The 76-year-old was travelling to Algeria when he was said to have missed his connecting flight from Istanbul, Turkey.
Days after Prof. Fasina was declared missing. The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) issued a statement on Sunday announcing that he had been found.
NiDCOM lauded the Nigerian High Commission in Turkey for their collaborative efforts to locate the professor.
