I abandoned W’Cup final to chair wedding – Jonathan

Lee Maeba, a former senator from the Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, criticized the police investigation into the alleged political thugs’ attack on his properties while speaking at the event. He threatened to take the police commissioner, Okon Effiong, to court for his alleged bias.

“I never expected this great gathering because of the 2022 World Cup football final between France and Argentina. I was watching it when I was told it was time for the wedding reception. I had to leave and come here,” Jonathan said.NYSC portal
