I am Sorrowed By Lagos Building Collapse – President Buhari
President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) said he is sorrowed by the collapse of a three-storey building in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State. Information Guide Nigeria
Buhari said this in a condolence message to families of those who died, sustained injuries, in the building collapse. PM NEWS reports.
Buhari relayed his feeling via a statement by Mr. Femi Adesina, his spokesman.

He commended the courage and determination of the first responders, national and sub-national emergency agencies in Lagos State, and compassionate Nigerians.
The president noted that their immediate actions in the aftermath of the collapse of the three-storey building led to the rescue of several persons, including many children.
The President added that the frequent collapse building in the country is becoming too much thus, embarrassing. jamb results
He, therefore, charged the relevant state authorities to work closely with experts to put a stop to these unfortunate incidents.
