The member Representing Etinan Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke has quashed a recent report on a National Newspaper (not THEWILL), that he was heavily induced financially to support the second term bid of Mr Udom Emmanuel in 2019. THE WILL reports.

Luke, who is the immediate past Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, had a serious face-off with his former boss, the former Governor of the state, which almost cost his second term in the State Assembly in 2015, if not for the overwhelming support from his constituents. jamb results
However, he was denied the position of Speaker, until a sectional rerun of the House of Assembly elections that swept the mantle off Rt. Hon. Aniekan Uko and it fell on him.
In the consultative meeting, which took place at the NUJ Press Center Information drive, off IBB Avenue, Uyo, the state capital, Luke, who is the chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Judiciary, stated that his support for the incumbent Governor in 2019, was born out of conviction, formed in the place of prayers.
