If you don’t like Tinubu as president Jump into Lagos lagoon: Femi Fani-Kayode

Director of New Media for the Bola Tinubu campaign, Femi FaniKayode advises those opposed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate’s ambitions to “jump into the lagoon.”

Mr Fani-remarks Kayode’s echo those of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, during the 2015 governorship election in the state, when he threatened to drown Igbo voters in the Lagos lagoon if they did not vote for the APC candidate.Infomation Guide Nigeria

The traditional ruler spoke during a visit by Ndigbo community leaders to the state a few days before the 2015 governorship election, which was viewed as a two-horse fight between Akinwumi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
