Innjoo Fire Plus is the successor to the fire. And as the name indicates, it is an improvement over the Innjoo Fire in many areas. However, it is still a mid-range phablet device.

It sports a 5.5 inch HD display, 13MP rear snapper, 16GB Octa-core processor and a huge 3600mAh battery. All wrapped in a bigger Innjoo Fire-like body.

Design of Innjoo Fire Plus

Just like the Innjoo Fire, the Innjoo Fire Plus is a stylish and premium looking smartphone. Finished in a combo of neatly chamfered metallic frame. And plastic rear cover. With the buttons neatly and appropriately arranged.

The front of the Innjoo Fire accommodates the 5.5 inches HD capacitive touchscreen, the 5MP front snapper and the soft keys at the bottom.

Along the metallic frame, the standard buttons are arranged. With the power/standby button placed at the left-hand side of the frame. While the volume rocker is placed at the right-hand side of the frame. This makes it suitable performing screenshots with ease.

The top side of the frame accommodates the headphone jack. While the bottom side of the frame accommodates the microUSB port.

Flip the device over and you will find the 13MP primary snapper at the upper side of the rear. With the dual LED flash beside it.

The horizontal shaped speaker grills can be found at the near bottom of the rear. And to wrap up the design, the Innjoo logo is neatly imprinted close to the middle of the rear cover.

Removing the rear cover reveals the poly carbonate shell accommodating other features of the Innjoo Fire Plus. Like the battery, the microSD slot and the dual SIM slots.

The Innjoo Fire Plus sports an impressive design. The beautifully curved slim edges offers improved ergonomics for a phablet smartphone.

All these are packaged in a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to ensure that your valuable display is always protected.

This makes it suitable for watching videos, playing games, surfing the web and working on word documents.

Moreso, it is sure capable of satisfying your everyday viewing needs. As the colour displays are vibrant and punchy.

However, the Innjoo Fire Plus does not offer the best of displays. But coming from an affordable mid-range phablet, it is a good enough display.

Also, with a 5.5 inch display, the Innjoo Fire Plus offers you big enough screen for watching videos, playing games, surfing the internet and working on word documents.

The Innjoo Fire Plus sports 13MP primary camera and the accompanying dual LED flash at the top corner of the rear. This is a huge upgrade to the 5MP primary snapper on the Innjoo Fire.

It also packs a host of other features built into the camera sensor. Like f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, HDR and panorama mode. And ability to capture photos at 88° wide angle.

The 5MP front snapper looks equally ready to render good enough photos.

The Innjoo Fire Plus runs Android OS v4.4.2 (kitkat) out of the box. With the company’s InnUI on top. This offered a bit of modifications to the stock Android.

There is the absence of app drawer. The icons are arranged in grid format directly on homescreen. However, you can change this by downloading and installing any other app launcher.

The device also comes with a host of Pre-installed apps and variety of themes which gives the user room for customization and personalization.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6592 Octa-core processor. Clocked at 1.4GHz. And the MALI-400MP GPU provides support.

To ensure seamless multitasking, sleek 3D gaming experience and breezy Android performance, the Innjoo Fire Plus comes fitted with a huge 2GB RAM. And a massive 16GB internal storage is there to ensure that all your files are comfortably accommodated.

This seems likely not to be enough memory to accommodate large files. But, its expandability via microSD card makes this compromise pardonable.

The OS might seem a bit backward and the processor lowly. But, the Innjoo Fire Plus is well packed for a budget phablet device.

So, you are sure going to get value for your money.

The Innjoo Fire Plus is powered by a decent removable battery with standard capacity of 3600mAh. This according to the company can offer 22 hours of talk time, 24 hours of music playing and up to 10 hours of video streaming.

To further augment for the deficiency in the battery section of the Innjoo Fire, the company added fast charge capability to the Innjoo Fire Plus.
