NOTE:

Items ix and x above are offered in Regular-9th May 2020,  Part-time (Evening)- 13th May, 2022 and Sandwich (Long Vacation)- 8th July, 2022.

Entry Requirements:

(a) PDE – Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent (Not Higher Diploma), Master Degree, Doctorate Degree in Arts, Social Science and Humanities obtained from a recognized institution.

(b) PDTE – Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent (Not Higher Diploma), Master Degree, Doctorate Degree in any Science, Vocational or Technical areas of specialization.

(c) WAEC or NECO or any other equivalent Certificate from recognized examination bodies with Credit in ¿ ve subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. Two of the three Credits must be in the subjects making up the combinations the candidates wish to offter.

(d) A Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TCII) with Credit or merit in ¿ ve (5) subjects not more than two sittings Credits /Merits in English Language and Mathematics required for candidates wishing to study any science programme.

(e) A pass in Pre – NCE Mathematics ¿ nal examination or a pass in IJMB Mathematics examination and a pass in JAMB is required for admission.

B. SCHOOL OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNICAL

EDUCATION

Pre NCE

1. Admission Requirements

1.1 Pre NCE (Technical)

SSC/NTC with at least three credits and two passes in not more than two sittings. The credits must include English Language and Physics and any other Science subject or TCII with credits/merits in the said subjects.

1.2 Pre NCE (Special Needs)

SSC/NTC/NBC with at least three credits and two passes in not more than two sittings. The credits must include English Jamb Result

Language and any two from History, Government, Biology, Chemistry or Agricultural Science or TCII with credits/merits in the said subjects.

2. Transition to NCE

At the end of the two semesters, students are to proceed to the respective NCE programmes provided they obtained a CGPA of 1.50 and scored the minimum Cut-Off Point at the JAMB UTME. They are however, exempted from Post UTME.

NOTES:

(i) Admission brochure is available on the portal for candidates to acquaint themselves with the admission requirements of all the above mentioned programmes.

(ii) Sales of Application forms will commence from 28th February, – 15th April, 2022.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are to log unto Kaduna Polytechnic  School Portal on http//www.kadunapoly.edu.ng  and follow the Remita payment option logo to access  the Kaduna Polytechnic page. Amount payable is  N8,000.00 only.
