Kanayo O Kanayo Sends ’Emotional’ Message To President Over Kanu
Actor and lawyer, Kanayo O Kanayo, on Wednesday pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene, and release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). POLITICS NIGERIA reports.
Kanayo disclosed his thoughts in a video message to President Buhari on his 60th birthday.

Now-detained Kanu heads IPOB, a group he founded in 2012. IPOB is pressing for the secession of the Igbo ethnic group’s homeland, which covers part of southeast Nigeria. Nigerian authorities view IPOB as a terrorist group. Information Guide Nigeria
