Lagos female driver kills pregnant woman, two passengers

A female driver is said to have killed three passengers, including a pregnant mother and a young girl, by crushing them to death on Saturday on Iju-Ishaga Road in the Agege neighbourhood of Lagos State.

The driver, according to our correspondent, did not hesitate before accelerating toward the Agege Underbridge.

Residents reportedly told nearby park managers to tell the automobile to halt.

According to reports, the woman was stopped near the Agege Underbridge and given to the police.

Nosa Okunbor, the spokeswoman for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, did not reply to questions since calls and a text message had not been returned as of the time this article was filed.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police’s public relations officer, confirmed the occurrence.

However, he said that the police had a record of one passenger who passed away immediately.
