According to a statement from the company, everyone was affected by the recent floods in some way, and many lowland residents had their homes destroyed.
The statement read in part, “On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Abbey Mortgage Bank took a stance to protect the environment by walking 8km to raise awareness of the overwhelmingly sad situation.JAMB portal
“Along with members of the Nigerian Red Cross, who were proud partners for the cause, the staff of Abbey Mortgage Bank walked the streets of Lagos singing and chanting words of motivation to onlookers.”NYSC portal

According to the report, the mortgage bankers marched from the Lekki link bridge to Victoria Island.
Lolita Ejiofor, the company’s Group Head of IT and Operations, expressed the company’s pride in participating in the charity walk to raise awareness of the devastation caused by climate change and the impact it has had on so many lives and livelihoods.
“We truly empathise with those families and are happy to work with the Nigerian Red Cross Society to help these flood victims,” she said.JAMB Result
