Naira depreciation: EFCC arrests ‘currency speculator’ in Abuja
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have detained Mustapha Muhammed, also known as Mustapha Naira, on suspicion of currency speculation.Information Guide Nigeria
Muhammed was arrested on November 12 in Wuse Zone 4, the core of parallel market operations in the federal capital area, according to a statement released by the anti-corruption agency on Tuesday (FCT).

The commission stated that the arrest was part of its ongoing effort to purify the foreign exchange market and cleanse it of speculators and all forms of economic saboteurs.JAMB Result
“The suspect has made useful statement while the investigation continues,” EFCC added.
