Naira redesign: This was the policy of the PDP – El-Rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has accused the governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, of acting in connivance with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to help them win the 2023 general election.Information Guide Nigeria

His reaction is following the Supreme Court’s decision, which nullified the federal government naira redesign policy.

The apex court in its judgement today, said that the old naira will remain a legal tender until December 31, 2023.

El-Rufai State governor said Emefiele had deceived the president and gave him wrong information.

According to DAILY POST, he stressed that those behind the naira redesign policy were those who wanted to run for president in his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, but they could not make it.
