Finlandโ€™s Nokia was founded in 1865 though it has become a global phenomenon now. It sold its devices and services to I.T. giant Microsoft in 2014 enabling them to design phones that run on Windows Operating Systems.

Nokia has been a household name since the introduction of GSM to Nigeria. The influence of Nokia phones has waned over the years with the inroads made by Apple, LG, BlackBerry, Samsung and most recently, Tecno, but Nokia Lumia is still a smartphone of choice for many Nigerians.

As you will notice from the analysis on Nigerian Prices for Nokia Lumia phones and their various specifications above, higher specifications often attract more money.

Also, the Nigerian prices for Nokia Lumia phones are not stable as they keep fluctuating (rising and falling) due to dollar rise and fall against Nigerian naira.

Microsoft has helped to redefine Nokia phones by improving its user interface and functionality unlike what we had on the Symbian platform.
