Our source learned that on Tuesday night, at 11 p.m., the anti-vandal and maritime team of the Badagry division was conducting a surveillance patrol when it discovered 720 kegs that contained 30 liters of gasoline each.

According to sources, after men from the NSCDC attacked their hideout on Tuesday, the vandals—who had been operating in the region for some time—took to their heels.

The exhibits, he continued, will be transported to the command’s headquarters in Alausa for more research.
In a statement released on Thursday by the command’s public relations officer, Olumide Abolurin, the NSCDC Commandant for Lagos State, Eweka Okoro, acknowledged the event.
Okoro stated that the vandals had been identified and that arrests will shortly be made.
