NSCDC recovers 21,000 litres of stolen petrol in Lagos

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has apprehended suspected oil vandals in the Badagry region of the state and recovered 21,600 liters of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as gasoline.Infomation Guide Nigeria

Our source learned that on Tuesday night, at 11 p.m., the anti-vandal and maritime team of the Badagry division was conducting a surveillance patrol when it discovered 720 kegs that contained 30 liters of gasoline each.

PUNCH According to Metro, the suspected vandals were attempting to carry petrol to the Benin Republic when they were intercepted at Yafin Creek.

According to sources, after men from the NSCDC attacked their hideout on Tuesday, the vandalswho had been operating in the region for some timetook to their heels.
