Eligibility Criteria
Open to All Students
- The competition is open to high school and university students from across the globe.
- Age Categories: There are two categories based on age:
- Junior: Under 18 years as of April 26, 2024
- Youth: Over 18 years as of April 26, 2024
How to Apply
Qualification Round
- The first phase of the competition involves solving five astronomy problems, available for download online. These problems range in both topic and difficulty, from testing theoretical knowledge to requiring detailed calculations.
- Learning Opportunity: The qualification round offers a chance not only to compete but also to learn more about the fascinating fields of astronomy and astrophysics.
Qualification Criteria
- To advance to the pre-final round, junior participants must score at least 15 points, while youth participants need to score 20 points. Solutions submitted in a digital format will receive a special honorary note on their participation certificates.
