Peter Obi welcomed with cheers as he rides boat to visit Benue flood victims

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, had a hero’s welcome as he paddled a boat to visit flood victims in a Benue State community.Informaion Guide Nigeria
On Thursday, October 20, 2020, the former governor of Anambra State visited numerous locations in the state impacted by the devastating flood.

In a video that appeared online, the leading presidential candidate is seen being manually paddled on a canoe by a group of neighbourhood teenagers.

Upon Obi’s arrival at the neighbourhood, the impacted victims, who were predominantly young people, greeted him with applause and enthusiasm.
