Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, says he would have retaliated against what Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State did to him while monitoring an election in Kaduna State.
El-Rufai, who was speaking to the Arewa joint committee in Kaduna State, claimed in a viral video that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s current presidential candidate, placed him under 48-hour house arrest in Anambra state during the election.Infomation Guide Nigeria

However, the governor of the All Progressive Congress, APC, stated that he will not arrest Obi since Northerners are civilised individuals.
He said, “Before I finish, I want to say that I went to Anambra state for my party to monitor the election, Peter Obi who was a Governor put me under house arrest for 48 hours.Jamb Result
“Today, I am the Governor of Kaduna state and he’s coming to Kaduna to campaign and apart from other security agencies, I have the First Mechanized Division of the Army in Kaduna but I will not arrest him because we Northerners are civilized people.”
