Former Zamfara State lawmaker, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has commended President Bola Tinubu for refraining from interfering in the judgments of the Supreme Court regarding the 2023 governorship election. He emphasized that President Tinubu’s non-interference in the Supreme Court’s decisions regarding the 2023 governorship election had upheld the expectations of Nigerians and helped safeguard the nation’s democratic institutions.

He recalled a similar incident during the buildup to the 2019 general election, in which he was then the leading contender for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara.
