According to information obtained by DAILY POST, the demonstration also affected the ongoing second-semester examination, as students who wished to sit for tests were unable to enter the campus.

Damilola Simeon, chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Ogun State, demanded the immediate reversal of all fee increases and the elimination of all newly announced fees on behalf of the protesting students.
Simeon claimed that Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, Rector of MAPOLY, was “milking” the students by increasing school fees and instituting illegal charges.
While calling for a probe of the administration by the state government, the NANS leader stated that Monday’s peaceful demonstration was in opposition to the mismanagement, corruption, and inhumane policies of MAPOLY.Jamb Result
