Chelsea are currently ten points from fourth-placed Manchester United and three points from Fulham, who sit in seventh. A win for the west Londoners will hand the side a huge boost as Potter looks to transform the club’s fortunes amid a rut of uninspiring form.

The Blues can draw inspiration from the absence of star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who will miss the bout after picking up a fifth yellow card last weekend. So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at all the latest injury news and return dates. JAMB Result

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

The midfielder joined his team-mates in training for the first time since November on Tuesday so it’s unlikely he’ll feature against Fulham. Having been deployed in a number of different positions so far this season, Potter will have missed the versatility that Loftus-Cheek brings to the Chelsea side.

What Potter said: ”Ruben is doing some work in the gym so we’re hopeful that he can be involved next week but we’ll see how he goes.”

Injury: Calf

Expected return date: Unknown

Raheem Sterling

Sterling was replaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inside an opening couple of minutes in Chelsea’s Premier League clash with City. The 28-year-old winger fell to the floor with a grimace on his face following a collision with John Stones. NYSC Portal

The Athletic reported on Friday that the forward is set for a scan on his hamstring to understand the extent of the injury he has suffered and understandably, Sterling was not named in the 18-man squad that traveled to his old stomping ground on Sunday, with Potter giving a brief update on the summer signing.
