Rapper Zilla Oak has released a new song titled ‘Rap Is Dead,’ in response to Wizkid’s remarks about Hip Hop and Nigerian artists.Information Guide Nigeria
Wizkid stated in an interview with 10 Magazine UK that Hip Hop is dead and that he is tired of the similarities in beat and delivery. Fans and rappers were outraged by the remark.
YCEE, M.I, A-Q, Blaqbonez, and Oladips were among the rappers that responded to the statements. While some argued that Wizkid was not referring to Nigerian rappers, the megastar later took to Snapchat to call Nigerian rappers broke, while also claiming that Sarkodie, Nasty C, and Black Sherif were the only rappers in Africa.

Keeping his word, Zilla Oaks dropped a diss tune titled ‘Rap Is Dead’ on Wednesday, September 7th. Wizkid, he claims, can’t compete with Burna Boy and is simply bashing artists to bring attention to his new album.
