Seven persons lost their lives and five others were left with various degrees of injuries in a ghastly car accident at Kirla village, along Birniwa Malam Madori Road in Jigawa State.Information Guide Nigeria
Confirming the incident, the Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Gambo Ibrahim, said that the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. when the occupants were going back to their respective destinations.
Ibrahim said that “the deceased comprised five males and two females and that all the victims had been referred to Birniwa General Hospital, for medical attention.”

Ibrahim, who could not ascertain the cause of the accident, urged motorists to shun overloading, over-speeding and road traffic laws violation.NYSC Portal
According to an eyewitness who does not want his name in print, the accident involved three commercial vehicles conveying passengers from Jajimaji and Hadejia Market back to their respective villages.
