2023 Headies: Organisers fail to announce winners of 13 categories

Other nominations include Best North African Artiste of the Year, Best Southern African Artiste of the Year, Best Central African Artiste of the Year, International Artiste of the Year, Best Alternative Album, and Best R&B Album.

Ayra Starr received the award for Best Female Artiste of the Year, Waje received the award for Best Vocal Performance (Female), and Victony & Tempoe received the award for Best Recording of the Year for ‘Soweto.’

Burna Boy’s ‘For My Hand’ featuring Ed Sheeran was voted Best R&B Single, Chike’s ‘The Brother’s Keeper’ was selected Best R&B Album, and Victony’s ‘Soweto’ was named Viewers’ Choice.

With the announcement of the remaining category winners, Burna Boy has now tied Rema for the most victories (three apiece).

Burna Boy received the most nominations (ten) and won three of the categories in which he was nominated.
