Southeast, South-South should produce next Senate President – Shettima

The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, on Tuesday, said the South-South and Southeast should be allowed to produce the next Senate President. DAILY POST reports.Information Guide Nigeria

AYCF National President, Yerima Shettima, said Senators should not pick a leader that would be a rubber stamp to President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

According to Shettima: “The South-South and Southeast have come to the fore, but it’s left to the National Assembly to look inward because we expect that the Senate Presidency should come from there.NYSC Portal
