Police confirmes two unidentified persons killed by train in Kano
Kano State News – Two yet to be identified persons have been confirmed dead by DSP. Abdullahi Haruna, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Kano Command, who said that the deceased was stretched out on the railway track, behind Kano club in Nasarawa local government area.
The Police confirmed this dead, today Tuesday in Kano. According to him, the two persons were crushed to death by a train in the state capital. Narrating the incident, the police said that, on April 16, at about 8 a.m they received a report that two unidentified persons were crushed to death by a moving train.

The police said that the corpses had been evacuated to a hospital, whose names are yet to be disclosed
The PPRO however, called on the members of the public to steer clear of railway tracks to forestall unnecessary accidents, adding that sitting beside the railroad could be very dangerous.
As at the time of writing this report the identities, gender, and ages of the deceased had not been confirmed, when the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) spoke with the PPRO on phone.
But he has, however, told NAN that the police would carry out an investigation on the incident.
