Court Bars Ondo Assembly From Impeaching Deputy Governor
The Ondo State House of Assembly has been restrained from impeaching the Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, over alleged gross misconduct. Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja, gave the restraining order on Tuesday, September 26, Daily Trust reported.

According to Justice Nwite, the interest of justice would be met by granting the application. The judge further restrained Akeredolu, his servants or privies from harassing, intimidating, embarrassing and preventing Aiyedatiwa from carrying out the functions of his office as deputy governor.JAMB Portal
