In the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Jalingo-Yorro-Zing Federal Constituency bye-election in Taraba State, Aminu Ibrahim Malle emerged as the party’s candidate.
The primary, held at Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo, saw Malle securing 41 votes, defeating rivals Mohammed Alkali, Abdulmumini Hamza, and Bilyaminu Umar.
This bye-election was necessitated by the passing of Ismaila Maihanci of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who won the seat in the 2023 general election. Lawan Isma’ila, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, confirmed Malle’s victory and commended the election’s integrity.NYSC Portal

He also encouraged the other aspirants to support Malle in the upcoming election against the PDP, slated for February 3rd.
