The Kano State Magistrate Court has remanded Mubarak Muhammed and Nazifi Muhammed, two Tiktok creators who made a controversial video mocking the state’s governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to the Peoples Gazette, they were charged with defamation of character for a play depicting the governor as corrupt.Information Guide Nigeria
Ganduje was presented as a corrupt official who sold the majority of the state’s lands by Mubarak Muhammed, also known as Uniquepikin, and his colleague.

Uniquepikin and Nazif pled guilty after the allegations of conspiracy and slander of the state’s commander-in-chief were read.
Aminu Gambari, the sitting magistrate, subsequently issued a remand order for the two Tikokers.
