Tinubu Search for Next CBN Governor

The President-elect Bola Tinubu and his aides are beaming their searchlight on who succeeds the current Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele.Information Guide Nigeria

According to BusinessDay, Tinubu and his team are combing through the ranks for top-level appointees into the next government to be sworn in on May 29, 2023, according to a report.

As reported by BusinessDay, the candidates lined up for the plum job include:

Olawale Edun, a former commissioner for finance.

Founding CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank and father of the modern-day pension industry Fola Adeola.
