Tinubu to begin presidential campaign in Plateau

The ruling All Progressives Congress has set November 15, 2022, as the formal start date for its presidential campaign rally in Jos, the Plateau State capital.Information Guide Nigeria

This was included in the party’s presidential timetable, which was issued on Wednesday, November 3, 2022.

The news comes just weeks after the Independent National Electoral Commission cleared the commencement of campaigns for the 2023 general election.

The APC had attempted to launch campaigns in the past but had been delayed multiple times.

However, according to the Presidential Campaign Council’s agenda and programme of operations announced on Wednesday, the party will begin its presidential campaign in Plateau State, while several town hall meetings with various stakeholders would be held around the country from November 16 to 30.

The party has also booked international engagements between December 4 and 10, 2022.JAMB Result

A demonstration and musical concert would be held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on February 8, 2023, with the final rally in Lagos taking place on February 13.

The Council will also use the period from February 12 to 24 for “election planning” ahead of the 2023 general election, according to the party.
