Tinubu will decide on which event to attend, can’t attend all- APC

Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Support Group for the North-East, Tijani Tumsah, has stated that the All Progressive Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will determine which events he will attend.Infomation Guide Nigeria

Sunday, while speaking on the Channels Television programme Sunday Politics, he made this statement.

Tumsah stated that Tinubu cannot be present at all events simultaneously, adding that the APC candidate will attend those he is able to and will be adequately represented at those he cannot.

Recall that Tinubu was recently criticised for his absence during the signing of the 2023 election peace deal, where he was represented by Kashim Shettima.

He said, “The presidential candidate will decide which event he will attend and the ones he cannot, he will be ably represented. And by the way, the rally in Lagos, there was a composite rally also held somewhere. So the presidential candidate does not need to be at both places at the same time. Now, there are multiplicity of events that happen, you do not expect the presidential candidate to be at all events at the same time.

As he did before the primary election, Tumsah announced that Tinubu will tour all 36 states of the federation during the party’s electoral campaign.Jamb Result
