President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Emmanuel Osodeke, expressed optimism Tuesday that the union’s strike will end soon, stating that for the first time there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Recall that on Friday, the Appeal Court ordered the union to ask its members to return to work within, after the union appealed an earlier decision to resume by the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, NICN.

Yesterday, Osodeke spoke during a meeting with the leadership of the House of Representatives, whose speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, and his team recently intervened in the dispute between the federal government and the union over the eight-month-long strike.Infomation Guide Nigeria
